Rivertown Poets

Veronica Kornberg, a San Francisco Bay Area resident, received the Morton Marcus Poetry Prize and the 2025 Wandering Aengus Book Award in Poetry. Her work has appeared in numerous journals, including Alaska Quarterly Review, Poet Lore, Catamaran, Rattle, Indiana Review, Plume, Rhino Poetry, Calyx, and Beloit Poetry Journal. Veronica co-founded a long-running poetry book club on the San Francisco Peninsula and is a Peer Reviewer for Whale Road Review. At home in Pescadero, she happily explores the tidepools and plays in her large coastal scrub garden. Strange Gift is her debut poetry collection.
Kathryn Jordan loves hiking, birding, and learning about animals and plants. Jordan’s poems have been selected by Maggie Smith, Juan Felipe Herrera, Dorianne Laux, Kim Addonizio, and Ellen Bass for positions in national contests. Her work can be found at The Sun, Atlanta Review, ONE ART, and Catamaran Literary Reader, among others.
